The Gentex Smoke Detector is a photoelectric smoke detector designed to give early warning signals of the presence of smoke with a 90 dB audible alarm and a 177 candela strobe light.

NOTE: Battery DOES NOT provide power to the strobe in the event of AC power failure.

Supplied with power cord; simply plugs into any 120 V AC outlet.

Complies with ADA. and UL 1971.

9 volt battery back-up with an audible low battery chip.

Bright 177 candela strobe flashes 60 times per minute.

Operates at a Frequency of 3000Hz.
